Himfr Forecasts Upcoming Mobile Internet Trends.

Himfr.com, one of China's leading B2B search platforms with more than 30 B2B industry websites to its name, forecasts upcoming mobile Internet trends.

Apple iPhone, Microsoft Windows Mobile, Google's Android, Nokia's Symbian and other similar operating systems are notable in the industry. Inspired by their success, many companies are eager to try to break into the mobile Internet industry. China Mobile is vigorously promoting independent research on its operating system (OMS) and establishing OMS industry alliances. China Unicom's UniPlus operating system is also a new product on the market. The recently successfully acquired Palm's IT company Hewlett-Packard has developed its own operating system, while Bada terminal manufacturers Samsung and Microsoft and others such as Menlo are conducting research and actively developing the market.

At the same time, the traditional Internet has also come up with new special features. Baidu has China's absolute advantage in the search field, Tencent's comprehensive strategy is based around the client, while Alibaba is foremost in e-commerce and payment experience. These companies are all also leveraging their visibility to enter the mobile Internet world.

Himfr's analysis points to the 3G network leading to higher expectations from users. In 2010, the market will see more consolidation and acquisition cases will gradually appear. Acquisitions will fill resource voids for companies in need.

According to analysis, mobile Internet marketing value and the value of sales channels have huge market potential. It is forecasted that in the next two years, mobile Internet industry revenue will grow at more than 100%. This number is expected to reach 172.2 billion yuan by 2011.

In the TMT (digital new media) field the traditional Internet industry has fewer and fewer opportunities. Current opportunities lie mainly in mobile Internet and 3G services. Last year, 3G's official business affected mobile Internet growth. Himfr is optimistic that new software, games, interactive communities, and related supporting services will see explosive growth in the next two years via China's mobile Internet industry.
