NSW: NSW Libs hail PM for FuelWatch scheme
The New South Wales Liberals have praised KEVIN RUDD for instituting a national FuelWatch
program.
They say it's something state Labor should have done long ago.
The prime minister says the scheme will be up and running by December 15.
Petrol retailers will have to daily notify the ACCC of proposed petrol prices for the
following 24 hours .. and adhere to that price.
The ACCC will make that information available by email .. a toll-free telephone number
.. or on the internet.
The scheme will be similar to one already operating in Western Australia.
