Vic: Another strike likely for Yallourn
Workers at the dormant Yallourn power plant decide tomorrow if they will add strike
action to the bans that have shut the plant down since Monday - with power restrictions
looming next week.
Victoria is currently operating on 80 per cent of its available power, as five unions
and the company battle out what is becoming a bitter fight over pay and conditions.
The unions are seeking a 12 per cent pay rise and the maintenance of current working
conditions, which the company wants to remove in favour of a 22 per cent pay rise.
